Where’s the buzz? What are people up to? What’s worth seeing? What’s the new trendy cafe in town? All these and more will be finally answered all in one place.

Brightonians will be able to navigate the sea of events and activities, finally making the most of this wonderful city whilst still staying on trends in fashion, culture and exhibitions.

Elin Arnar - Editor

Our Icelandic editor is a published author and spent eight years running major nationally-distributed publications. After visiting Brighton on holiday Elin was inspired to dedicate a publication to reflecting the diversity in the city. After four years Brighton Journal is more widely read than ever before and is growing year on year.

Graham Cushway - Review

Our Assistant Editor is a published author with extensive writing credits for a number of publications ranging from History magazines, to defence industry and Armed Forces’ charities’ publications. Graham combines his writing experience with his passion for music and the arts, and reviews and interviews musicians and other artistes and performers.

Hannah Midgley - Journalist

Hannah is Brighton bred and has returned to Brighton after studying at Bristol University. Hannah adds sociological perspectives drawn from her studies, and has a special interest in the people and culture of the city.

Lorraine Bigi - Journalist

Lorraine recently attained an MA in Journalism and combines this with a real passion for writing. Lorraine loves connecting with the local community, and loves to share these stories and write on environmental topics.

Daniel Green - Elections Journalist

Is a graduate from University of Sussex where he studied History and politics, and he also has an MA in Journalism. Daniel is passionate about politics and follows both national and international politics very closely. Stay tuned for Daniel´s updates on the local election.

Lily Wood - Brighton Belle

Lily is currently combining Fashion Design with Business Studies for a degree at Brighton University. Lily is our current fashion journalist, so if she stops you on the street it’s because you have a great style! Lily is particularly interested in menswear and is currently exploring the boundaries of male fashion in her work. She is particularly interested in the transition between runway and High Street.
